Isla Marriano is used to coming second in life. With her family, with her friends, and with love. One afternoon, Isla’s grandmother invites over the worst possible man for her, or so she thought. Noah Oldfield does not see the point of dating after a failed relationship when he was eighteen. That set the tone for his romantic life. When Noah met Isla, he despised her with every morsel in his body. She was infuriating to him and all he wanted to do was avoid her at all costs. Somehow though, their relationship was rocking between acquaintances and lovers, completely missing the friendship part. Not that it mattered.
